The All Faiths Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that provides millions of meals to those in need each year. Another food distribution organized by the All Faiths Food Bank happens during Thanksgiving and is done through partner agencies. To qualify for a turkey distribution, you must be a Sarasota or DeSoto County resident and have proof of residency. Turkey distributions are made possible thanks to the thankful campaign and the support of the Kathleen K. Catlin Foundation, which has supported the program for eight years.
